Gwyneth Paltrow has tossed singing back into her juggling routine of actress, mom, chef and blogger.
For the December release of her new country music drama “Country Strong,” Paltrow plays a fallen star pulled from rehab by her husband and manager, portrayed by Tim McGraw, to stage a comeback. She sings the film’s title track, which hit the Web on Monday.
“Paltrow’s single is aggressively inoffensive,” Vanity Fair quips. We’d take it a step further and say it’s downright pleasin’ -- we’ve been a fan of the actress’ voice since her easy-listening bonanza from “Duets.”
“Country Strong,” shot in Nashville, costars Garrett Hedlund and Leighton Meester. Paltrow blogged about her favorite eats and shopping spots in Music City.
Take a listen and tell us: Do you think the single is “Country” strong?
