Court denies Jamie McCourt’s request to be reinstated as Dodgers CEO

A Los Angeles County Superior Court commissioner has denied Jamie McCourt‘s request to be reinstated as chief executive of the Dodgers.

Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon ruled there isn’t a state law to support her bid to be reinstated. Her husband, Frank McCourt, fired her for allegedly not fulfilling her duties as CEO and for having an inappropriate relationship with a subordinate.
Jamie McCourt, who filed for divorce last month, argued in court papers that she is co-owner of the team. Frank McCourt says he is the sole owner.
