Canyon gets a lift from Boyd’s appearance

It was good to hear that John Boyd made an appearance before Canyon’s impressive 49-28 victory over Bonita. Boyd, a Comanches team captain, has been diagnosed with leukemia. He is in the early stages of treatment and will miss out on playing his senior season.

Hopefully, he will be able to attend many more games this year.
