Junior libero picks Washington

Kelly Holford, a 5-foot-9 junior libero for state Division I girls’ volleyball champion Los Alamitos, has committed to Washington.

The Griffins (30-7) became the fourth team in the history of the state tournament to win consecutive Division I titles, beating Pleasonton Foothill last December and Brentwood Liberty in 2005.
