Boys’ basketball: Fairfax 16, Westchester 14 at halftime

In a surprisingly low scoring first half, Fairfax holds a 16-14 halftime lead over Westchester at halftime of their Western League showdown.

Westchester’s guards have been unable to hit from outside. Dominique O’Connor has made just one basket and Jordin Mayes leads his team with five points.

Renardo Sidney has scored eight points, grabbed 11 rebounds and made three blocks for Fairfax.
