Boys’ soccer: El Camino Real is best in the Southland

Woodland Hills El Camino Real brought respect to the City Section on Saturday by knocking off Fresno Bullard, 2-0, to win the SoCal regional championship in boys’ soccer.

The Conquistadores got a goal from Sebastian Rodriguez 30 seconds into the match. In the final 10 minutes, Erikson Penate added another goal.

El Camino Real earlier upset top-seeded El Toro.
