Football: Fajardo is 10 for 10

What a debut to the senior year for Servite quarterback Cody Fajardo. He was 10 for 10 for 104 yards and one touchdown in the first quarter against Long Beach Poly. On the final play of the quarter, he rolled left and just before a Poly defender was going to hit him, he unleashed a 39-yard strike to Rudy Guerrero to the Poly seven.

Then, on the third play of the second quarter, Fajardo scored on a three-yard run, giving Servite a 16-0 lead over the top-ranked Jackrabbits.
