Garfield defense steps up to hold Roosevelt

Los Angeles Roosevelt drove to the Garfield 31-yard line holding a 7-6 lead over the Bulldogs, but Garfield’s defense held.

The big defensive play was by Hector Cazales, who dropped Jesse Lira for a one-yard loss. Garfield has the ball with 5:07 left in the second quarter.
