Football: San Pedro edges L.A. Jordan for No. 5 seed

San Pedro, which finished in a three-way tie for second in the Marine League with Banning and Narbonne, was selected the No. 5 seed for the City Section playoffs in a vote of coaches and league officials.

L.A. Jordan received some votes and lost in a runoff with the Pirates. The Bulldogs will likely be seeded No. 6.
