BAKERSFIELD--Mater Dei’s biggest challenge on the road to a state title might have come last week in the Southern California regional championship against Brea Olinda.
Concord Carondelet isn’t putting up much of a fight in the state championship, trailing, 34-17, at halftime in the Division II game at Rabobank Arena.
Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis has been unstoppable for Mater Dei with 16 points in the first half, falling one point short of the Cougars’ total. Let the celebration begin in Santa Ana.
