Girls’ golf: Torrance leads Northern Regional qualifiers

Torrance (374), Palos Verdes (392), Newhall Hart (395) and Sherman Oaks Notre Dame (401) qualifed for the Southern Section girls’ golf championships after advancing from the Northern Regional at Soule Park.
Anne Cheng from Torrance and Alison Lee from Valencia each shot 68 to lead individuals.
Anaheim Canyon won the Southern Regional.
