Khaliq Bedart-Ghani‘s buzzer-beate has given Loyola a 18-17 lead over Mater Dei at the end of the first quarter in tonight’s Southern California Regional quarterfinal game at Mater Dei High.

The Cubs trailed 12-4 midway through the quarter but rallied on a three-pointer by Joe Stein and baskets by Justin Childress, Julian Harrell, and Jacob Hazzard.
