Baseball: St. Francis upsets Chaminade

West Hills Chaminade, ranked No. 11 by The Times and unbeaten in the Mission League, gave up two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning and lost to St. Francis, 5-4, on Tuesday.
David Olmedo-Barrera’s two-run single gave St. Francis (8-5, 3-2) the victory. Joey Malham (4-0) picked up the victory with a complete-game pitching performance.
Chaminade dropped to 8-3 and 4-1.
Mission Hills Alemany defeated Encino Crespi, 5-4. Cody Thompson pitched six innings to get the victory. Edgar Montes had three hits.
