Football: Santa Margarita leads Orange Lutheran, 17-10

Santa Margarita’s Connor O’Brien scored on a five-yard touchdown pass from Johnny Stanton to give the Eagles a 17-10 lead with 34 seconds left before halftime.

O’Brien helped his own cause two plays earlier when he made a spectacular, 28-yard catch to put Santa Margarita inside the Orange Lutheran 10.

Santa Margarita has put points on the board on each of their first-half possessions.
