Football: Vista Murrieta defeats Corona Centennial, 35-28

Nicholas Stevens scored on a 30-yard run with 26 seconds left as the Broncos (9-5) avenged their loss to Centennial (12-2) in last year’s Inland Division championship game.

Giles Guy-Williams finished the night with two touchdown catches and teammate Romello Goodman scored on runs of three and 57 yards for Centennial.

Stevens completed 12 of 20 passes for 109 yards and two touchdowns. Goodman rushed for 168 yards in 20 carries.

Centennial entered the game having won two of the last three Inland Division titles.
