Boys’ basketball: Isaac Hamilton chooses UTEP as his college choice

Standout senior guard Isaac Hamilton of Bellflower St. John Bosco ended the recruiting process on Friday by announcing he will attend UTEP, whose coach, Tim Floyd, used to be at USC.

UCLA also made a major push for Hamilton, whose younger brother, Daniel, a junior, is also a top prospect. Another brother, Jordan, plays for the Denver Nuggets.

Hamilton averaged 26 points as a junior. He made the announcement on ESPNU.
