Tandy, whose products include Radio Shack computers, said it earned $87.1 million in the second quarter ended Dec. 31, up from $76.6 million a year earlier. The Fort Worth, Tex.-based company reported its revenue in the period rose 21% to $1.09 billion from $903.8 million. Also, the firm said earnings were up 13% to $128.8 million in the first half of its fiscal year, compared to $113.9 million a year earlier. Revenue for the six-month period was $1.79 billion, up 19% from $1.51 billion.
