Master’s Recovers From Drought to Top Christ College

The Master’s College women’s basketball team took an early lead, faltered, and then came back strong to take a decisive 75-54 nonconference win over Christ College on Thursday night.
The Master’s led, 16-6, early in the first half, and hit a seven-minute drought in which Christ College assumed a 20-16 lead.
The Master’s came back to outscore Christ College in both periods.
Sophomore center Kim DeKraker led the The Master’s with 19 points and 17 rebounds. Teammate Shelmarie Tatum had 18 points and 14 rebounds, and Michelle Carter added 18.
Diane McCann led Christ College with 14 points, and teammates Denise Brehm and Debbie Meyer had 11 each.
