When Outtakes announced that Jim Bacon would be taking his celebrity chat to radio on something called the All-Star Radio Network, we got caught in the middle of a tug-of-war over a name.
A rep from All Star Radio, which syndicates the Steven and Grdnic comedy team to 400 markets, called to say that its moniker has been registered with the state for three years and people are getting confused.
“We’re calling it All Star Wars,” said the All Star rep. “The lawyers are talking now.”
Kenny Green, who produces the Bacon show, said, “We have a certificate from the secretary of state that our name is free and clear.” He said he has no plans to give it up.
