Woman Found Slain in L.A.

Los Angeles police sought to determine today whether a woman found shot to death in South-Central Los Angeles is the 16th victim of a serial killer who preys primarily on prostitutes.
The body of the woman, thought to be in her early 20s, was found in a yard early today on West 79th Street. Her name was not released. The serial killer has murdered most of his victims, all young women, in the same area.
