South Coast League : Call Leads Capo Valley to Victory

Playmaking guard Nathan Call scored 21 points and teammate Jason Trask added 20 to lead Capistrano Valley High School to an 87-64 victory over Irvine Wednesday at Capistrano Valley.
The victory improved the Cougars’ South Coast League record to 9-0 and 20-2 overall; Irvine fell to 6-5 in league and 14-11. Shawn Reed added 19 points for the Cougers. Jim Raye led the Vaqueros with 14 points.

CAPASTRANO VALLEY (87)--Call 21, Trask 20, Reed 19, Stark 5, Balagot 4, Davey 4, McCullough 4, Waikle 4, Beightol 2, Binder 2, Montes 2.
El Toro 62, Dana Hills 44--Sophomore guard Brett Johnson scored 16 points to lead the Chargers (5-5, 12-10) at Dana Hills (0-9, 6-13). Forward Dave Lyon led all Dana Hills scorers with 16 points.
