LA JOLLA — Artist Jennifer Bartlett will not conduct an 11 a.m. walk-through of her exhibit which opens today at the La Jolla Museum of Contemporary Art. The Long Beach native, who lives in New York, is not able to attend because of illness.
Instead, Marge Goldwater, curator of the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis which organized the show, will conduct a show tour at 11 a.m. The comprehensive, mid-career survey of Bartlett’s development from 1970 to 1985 includes more than 100 examples of her artwork.
