Reagan’s State of Union Message

The logic of Reagan’s budget escapes me. In Scene 1, he tells us: To solve defense problems we must spend more money. In Scene 2 he tells us: To solve domestic problems, i.e., education, health, the poor, the homeless, the aged, the cities, etc., we must stop spending money.
This would be funny if it were a script for the next Bonzo movie. This is very sad, however, as a blueprint for our country’s future.
