UCI Women Lose to Arizona in Tennis

Lola Trenwith and Kathy Rose won singles matches Saturday, but UC Irvine dropped its semifinal women’s tennis match to 17th-ranked Arizona, 5-2, in the Arizona Invitational at Tucson.
Trenwith, playing at No. 2, beat Susan Russo, 6-4, 7-5. Rose, at No. 4, defeated Jackie Ranger, 6-4, 6-7, 6-3. The Anteaters play Washington today for third place.
