Evans, Skemp Lead USD Women to Win

SAN DIEGO — Julie Evans and Karen Skemp scored 20 and 19 points, respectively, to lead the USD womens’ basketball team to a 79-59 win over Loyola Marymount Saturday.
Nine of the Torrera’s 11 players scored in the West Coast Athletic Conference game. USD (8-2 in conference, 15-9 overall) led 43-24 at the half.
Tracey Anderson scored 19 points for Loyola (0-9, 2-22).
