LONDON SYMPHONY TO HONOR BERNSTEIN

LONDON — The London Symphony Orchestra has announced it will stage the largest festival ever held in Europe, featuring the music of conductor and composer Leonard Bernstein.
The orchestra will perform 10 of the 67-year-old Bernstein’s works, including the Symphonic Dances from “West Side Story,” plus works by composers he has admired or by whom he has been influenced.
