USC Women Crush Utah State, 115-45

The USC women’s basketball team routed Utah State, 115-45, Friday night in a quarterfinal game of the Northern Lights Invitational tournament at the University of Alaska Anchorage.
Cheryl Miller scored 30 points on 12-of-14 shooting, and Cherie Nelson scored 20 as the Lady Trojans raced off to a 53-13 halftime lead. USC had six players in double figures.
In tonight’s semifinal, USC will face SMU, which defeated University of San Diego, 74-73, in overtime Friday.
USC is 25-3; Utah State is 6-13.
