Neighbor Foils Burglary: Police said Thursday that an alert neighbor foiled a burglary and made it possible for officers to arrest two suspects. Officers said that a resident in the 200 block of North Madrona Avenue notified them about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday that two men had apparently broken into a neighboring house. Officers found two suspects in the house and arrested them on suspicion of burglary and receiving stolen property. They were identified as Christopher Martinez, 24, of Alhambra and Randall Martinez, 23, of Monterey Park.
