NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The death of a door-to-door Jehovah’s Witness preacher from cyanide that was found in a Tylenol container beneath his bed has been ruled a suicide, Davidson County Medical Examiner Charles Harlan said today.
Harlan said the ruling was based on Timothy R. Green’s “financial problems” and the fact that Green bought the cyanide himself. Police believe Green may have used Tylenol capsules to lay the groundwork for a possible lawsuit against Johnson & Johnson, the manufacturer of the non-prescription painkiller.
