As long as Gerber’s is finding glass shards in its baby food and Tylenol is laced with cyanide, President Reagan’s decrease of the Food and Drug Administration budget makes great sense. Perhaps, one day Reagan will lose his teeth or have a headache and then, won’t he be sorry?
To paraphrase a famous saying, “Many dollars for defense and subverting other governments, but not one red cent for food, health, education or safety.”
