William M. Schnee Heads Industrial Realtors Unit

William M. Schnee, associate vice president of Schneider Commercial Real Estate in Santa Monica, has been elected 1986 president of the Southern California chapter, Society of Industrial Realtors, succeeding Willis C. Blakeslee of Penta Pacific Properties of Norwalk.
Other new officers include Kim R. Shirley, Crookall, Shirley & Co., Santa Ana, vice president; Jay Haskell, the Seeley Co., Los Angeles, secretary, and Ed Meserve, Grubb & Ellis, Newport Beach, treasurer.
A 32-year veteran of the industrial real estate industry specializing in the western portion of Los Angeles County, Schnee was co-owner of Bergman, Schnee & Co. Inc. of Santa Monica until the firm’s acquisition in 1984 by Schneider Commercial Real Estate.
Schnee has been a member of the Society of Industrial Realtors since 1968 and has been an officer of the group for the past four years. He is also a past director of the Los Angeles Board of Realtors and was a founding member of the American Industrial Real Estate Assn.
