I thoroughly enjoyed Jerry Hulse’s Feb. 23 article on California B&Bs; and, having stayed at most of those mentioned, share his praise. He must have had a wonderful time doing research and no doubt was forced to whip through the state at a frantic pace. That’s the only explanation I can imagine for omitting the Ojai Manor Hotel in the Ojai Valley, and he was so close. The next time you’re racing through Ventura County, call (805) 646-0961 and ask for the room with the view of Topa Topa Mountain and the old oak tree.
