Escondido Hideaway

Phyllis Butler’s article on Puerto Escondido (Feb. 9) was excellent. First article I have read on Mexico’s hideaways that spoke my language. I prefer a bit of luxury when I travel, such as a clean bed, a shower and a good place to eat.
Butler’s information on the airport and the numbers of tourists that now visit the port was new to me. I also recently heard that the main street is being paved, so it is no longer going to be a secret place.
