Appleberry Leads Christ College, 91-83

Christ College Irvine, led by Derwin Appleberry’s 36 points, defeated Lamar College, 91-83, in the consolation bracket of the National Little College tournament at Bristol, Tenn.
Appleberry, a 6-foot 6-inch junior, also had 19 rebounds for the Eagles (25-7). Teammate Tim Surridge added 23 points and 11 rebounds.
