Peace March Organizers Sued Over Film, TV Issue

People Reaching Out for Peace, original organizer of the financially troubled cross-country Great Peace March, was sued Monday for $150,000 in Los Angeles Superior Court by Cimarron Productions Inc. in an attempt to recover money it claimed to have paid for exclusive television and movie rights to the event.
Organizers severed ties with the march because of lack of support funds. But marchers encamped near Barstow say they plan to go on with the trek for world nuclear disarmament with the help of 13 regional support offices across the country.
