Finnish Strike in 2nd Day

HELSINKI, Finland — About 42,000 state employees demanding higher wages Wednesday began the second half of a two-day strike that has halted Finland’s trains, grounded most airline flights and shut down post offices. There were still no signs of a wage agreement that would avert an indefinite strike, due to start on April 2.
