Reagan Approves Flood Funds for Washington

WASHINGTON — President Reagan has declared Washington state a major disaster area following last month’s storms, landslides and flooding that caused millions of dollars in damage. The President’s action Wednesday will permit the use of federal money for relief and recovery efforts in designated parts of the state.
