A San Bernardino woman was killed early Saturday when the car she was riding in slammed into the back of parked semi-trailer on Interstate 8, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Dead at the scene of the 3:45 a.m. accident was Kimberly Gregg, 19. She was a passenger in a car driven by Tracy Ottereein, 19, also of San Bernardino, police said.
According to the CHP, Ottereein’s car was speeding on westbound Interstate 8 when it hit the parked semi-trailer about a mile and half west of California 79.
Ottereein was in good condition at Kaiser Permanente Hospital.
