Formula Change Cited in Paint Thinner Recall

WASHINGTON — More than 20,000 bottles of a paint thinner used in art crafts are being recalled after a formula change that could make the product poisonous, the Consumer Product Safety Commission announced Friday.
Folkart Extender 947 is being recalled by Plaid Enterprises Inc., of Norcross, Ga., because ethylene glycol was used in it instead of propylene glycol, the commission said.
