Cal State Fullerton Goes to Semifinals

Behind the pitching of Susan LeFebvre, the top-ranked Cal State Fullerton softball team advanced to the semifinals of the PONY Invitational Tournament by defeating California, 5-0, at the Fullerton campus.
The Titans will meet seventh-ranked Northwestern in a 1 p.m. semifinal, and No. 6 Texas A&M; will meet No. 2 Fresno State at 11 a.m. The championship game is schedule for 3 p.m.
LeFebvre (13-2) pitched Fullerton (25-3) to its fifth consecutive tournament victory against no defeats. The Titans have yet to allow a run in the tournament, and LeFebvre extended her season-long streak of 104 innings without allowing an earned run.
