Cal Lutheran’s Greathouse Wins Nebraska Decathlon

Greg Greathouse of Cal Lutheran College won the decathlon with a personal best score of 7,458 points at the Cornhusker Invitational in Lincoln, Neb., on Saturday.
On the first day of competition Friday, he had run the 100 meters in 10.72. Greathouse also posted marks of 24-8 in the long jump, 42-3 in the shot put, 6-10 in the high jump and ran the 400 meters in 49.02.
Greathouse came back Saturday with marks of 14.8 in the 110 meter high hurdles, 132-0 in the discus, 14-8 in the pole vault and 191-2 in the javelin. His time for the 1,500 meters was unavailable.
