Conservancy Tour to Visit Neutra, Schindler Houses
- Share via
Pioneer architects Richard J. Neutra and R. M. Schindler will be represented next Sunday in a van-driven house tour sponsored by the Los Angeles Conservancy.
The tour will be of six homes in the Silver Lake area, including Neutra’s own, another designed by Schindler in 1925, and four conceived by architects whose works paralleled and continued that begun by Neutra and Schindler, using large expanses of glass. The architects include J. R. Davidson, Gregory Ain, Gordon Drake and Allyn E. Morris.
The cost is $25 for Conservancy members and $35 for non-members. More details may be obtained by contacting the Conservancy at 849 S. Broadway, Suite M-22, Los Angeles, or by telephoning 623-CITY.
