A group increased its offer for National Gypsum.

National Gypsum said its management-led buy-out group has made a revised proposal to acquire the company. Under the revised proposal, the firm would be acquired in a merger transaction in which each outstanding share of the company’s common stock would be exchanged for $46 in cash and $28 face amount of subordinated discount debentures.
