Resorts International, Atlantic City, N.J., named Henry B. Murphy chairman and promoted President I. G. Davis Jr. to chief executive. Together they replace James M. Crosby, who died last week.
Murphy, a Trenton, N.J., undertaker, is married to Crosby’s sister, Elaine, and with her holds about 10% of the company’s voting stock.
