Superior Court Judge Joseph Kalin denied Citadel Holding’s request for a preliminary injunction against Great Western Financial Corp. to block its offer for Citadel’s stock. Citadel, the parent of Glendale-based Fidelity Federal Savings, lost a similar request in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles two weeks ago. Citadel is fighting a $175-million exchange offer from Great Western that expires Friday.
