Saudi Prince Gets 3-Month Jail Term on Cocaine Charges

LONDON — A nephew of King Fahd of Saudi Arabia was sentenced to three months in jail today on conviction of possessing cocaine with the intent to supply it.
Prince Mashour Aziz, the 24th of 45 sons of the late King Saud, was found guilty on Friday. He was sentenced to three months for possession and 12 months, with nine months suspended, for the intent to supply. Judge Henry Pownall of Knightsbridge Crown Court made the sentences concurrent.
Aziz, 32, told the court earlier in the 3 1/2-month trial that his cocaine habit cost him $75 a day. He denied that he was a drug supplier.
