Valhalla Holds On to the Top Spot in San Diego Baseball Poll

SAN DIEGO — Valhalla High, despite splitting a pair of games last week, remained the No. 1 team in this week’s Times prep baseball top 10. Valhalla (13-4-1) is tied with No. 3 Santana (14-2) for first in the Grossmont League.
Mount Carmel (15-4) won twice last week to take the No. 2 spot. Included in the victories was a 5-3 win over No. 5 Fallbrook on Friday.
