Accident Victim Identified: A bicycle rider who was killed when he accidentally fell under a trash truck was identified Saturday as Mario Alejandres, about 25, of Santa Ana. The Orange County coroner’s office said Saturday that Alejandres’ age was still uncertain. Alejandres was killed at 3:30 p.m. Friday when he rode his bicycle off a curb at 17th Street and Grand Avenue in Santa Ana and struck the side of a trash truck. He was then thrown under the wheels of the truck, police said.
