A contaminated Knudsen plant was closed.

The Schepps milk plant of Dallas, one of the largest in Texas, was closed May 29 after bacteria was found on floor cracks in one section of the plant, and milk products made there were recalled. Los Angeles-based Knudsen, which owns the plant, said it will remain closed for a week so it can remove the bacteria and make $500,000 worth of improvements.
