Airliner Nearly Collides With Plane at Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. — An AirCal plane landing at Portland International Airport nearly collided with a small private plane, a Federal Aviation Administration spokesman said Friday. No injuries were reported in the close call, which occurred Thursday.
